Hello!
We have added another Persimmons and Figs to the schedule on Tuesdays, April 3rd and 10th from 10:00 - 2:30, and another Tuscan Afternoon on Wednesdays March 21st and 28th.
We have also added an Open Class on Tuesday March 20th from 10:00 till 2:00. If you need help working on a painting of your own, this is the class for you!
There is still room in the Haida Gwaii coaster set on Fridays March 16th and 23rd - a watercolour technique painted on tumbled marble tiles from the Home Depot...a great gift!
In an effort to keep you informed of upcoming classes, we have set dates for my brand new painting, based on Billy Jacobs' Old Stone Barn (not finished yet) on Saturdays May 12th and 26th from 10:00 till 4:00. Please call Ramona at the shop for more info or to register for any of these classes.
I will be adding more classes in May as I paint them! Stay tuned!
Announcement!
Marie Smith and I have volunteered to again organize and run the Annual Garage Sale to raise funds for the Zimbabwe Gecko Society which is run by our friend Susan Janetti and her husband Frank. Sue and Frank have just left for Zimbabwe to administer the funds that were raised last year. The Garage Sale is an important fund-raising event for the society and Marie and I hope that you will all once again help us make it a success by saving your gently used goods (books, craft supplies, kitchenware, household items, linens, accessories, children's toys, small sporting goods, etc. etc. sorry, we cannot accept furniture or other large items, TV's, or computers and printers) and donating them to the cause! The sale will be held on Saturday May 19 at the White Rock Baptist Church Hall on 140th Street just north of 16th Avenue. Drop off of goods will be at the hall on Friday May 18th after 5:00 pm. Thank you in advance for helping this incredibly worthwhile cause. Check out Sue's website at www.zimbabwegecko.com.
