Painting Hint #2
Did you know that Baby Wipes make a wonderful cleaning surface for your mop when in use?? Simply stroke your mop over the baby wipe (the alcohol removes the accumulated paint and evaporates quickly) then over your dry terry towel, and you are good to go!!
Painting Hint #3
Remember to always remove the dried paint globs that accumulate under your paint bottle caps and ensure your bottles are always tightly closed. Exposure to air causes your paint to lose moisture, and makes it thick and less workable.
Painting Hint #4
Many of my students may not know about the best way to keep your brushes in good shape - the Brush Grooming Pad (a little heart shaped plastic pad with raised knobby things) combined with DecoMagic brush cleaner used periodically during your painting session and of course, before you store your brushes, will prolong their 'painting lives' by a bunch!!
